Miss Storm with Best Friend, Buddy!

We were up at 3 AM with Diann. Diann got Michael up at 4 to take over.  He looks funny at that hour. Michael tried to go back to sleep but I whined and howled and barked for as long as I could. He got up and tried to make breakfast, but I demanded full attention to the point his yummy Mexican omelet got cold  Good job.

I helped Michael move yards of  mulch around the flower beds.  I like chasing the wheel barrel. I don't like that rope thing he put on me to keep me from romping in the neighbor lady's yard.  I let him know about that. I stayed under his feet all day. I laughed when he fell down trying not to step on me. I rolled in all of the dirt and am not clean and soft anymore.

I barked my tail off when mean Michael locked me in Sassy's kennel when the lawn guys came. I barked and howled my tail off more when I had to drive to the Vet in the back of Michael's prison on wheels. Screw that micro chip thing the nasty Vet Lady jammed in me. Also, next time put more lube butt thermometer thing please. I am tired now. I want to dream of chewing up the couch tomorrow under Diann's watch. Love, Addie

I will train these Inch people if it's the last thing I do !!!! Day 3 .... Exhausted!

Ch Thornapple End Of The Rainbow visits college! Rain is owned & loved by Betsy Hamkens!

Rainy went to college:))))) Marketplace for kids all day. My classes averaged 90 to 100 kids each session. Rain had a blast as did I. He is sooooo excellent. I could own 10 Rain puppies. My heart aches that there will never be a repeat of that breeding. Here are some of the pictures I took of Rain at the University today.

On the one he is checking out the doggie bathroom facilities aka the hydrant. One he is helping me pick up the cones and "clean up".The kids roared over that one since the more they laughed the sillier he got. He loves helping me pickup after a training session.

Whether it be cones or poles or whatever we are using for training. The crate one he can hardly wait until he can come out of his crate and work. He is starting to cheat on that one  but figures if he is halfway in that is better than nothing. I sooo care for that dog!!!! He is one that has to live forever:)))))) I will be lost without him. Betsy

Yoshi from Wild Levin in Japan sends a wonderful thank you & photos of his Japanese mud puppies! We were happy to meet you at Nationals, Yoshi!

The weekend were so fruitful for us:-) I  took my practice to be an ring staff at the Budapest dog show, while Vito was shown by one of my friend, who is a very good handler... In the first day of the show Vito received CAC, and CACIB titles from a judge, who is sooo strict, I was a bit afraid of him:-).

On the second day, Vito were the ResCAC and the Res CACIB. On Monday Vito passed the herding trial exam:-)))Best,Barbi CONGRATULATIONS,Barbara! VITO is a son of Thornapple Iced Latte who lives in Hungary!

We wanted to send along a few photos of Thornapple Song of the Patriot, aka Cash. Jonathan is having a wonderful time spoiling him already. He is

eating well, loves his toys and running and chasing in the yard.

Though I do think his favorite activity is being snuggled. :-) We will be taking him for his puppy check and micro chip this afternoon. We will send lots of pictures to keep you updated.

There are not words that can express how grateful we are to have him as part of the family. A mere thank you doesn't seem enough. Kim, for Kirk and Jonathan, too

Thornapple Song Of The Patriot "Cash" ** Happy in his new home! Cash is sired by Ch Thornapple Single Barrel. His dam is Ch Thornapple Russian ToA Party. Cash has big shoes to fill! Jonathon thinks he can do it! Kirk, Kim & Jonathon lost their dear sweet Thornapple Aussie, Bandit (pictured below), this past March, at the age of 4, due to an almost unheard of condition in dogs, a brain tumor. Bandit was not only their very dear pet, Bandit was Kim's seizure detection dog. How can this be?

How could this very special dog with an important job to do, be taken from them so young? We extended our hearts to Kim and her family, offering our beautiful Cash to help ease their pain. Kim & Kirk met us at the Kokomo Dog Shows this past weekend, to pick up their new pride & joy! Jonathon didn't think he could love another Aussie but Kim tells us it was love at first sight. Kim also praised Cash -- only one potty accident in the house since he arrived home on Friday evening. She says Bandit is watching ovwatching over Cash & helping with his training! Our deepest sympathies go out to you and your family Kim. Your happiness and gratitude means the world to us! We hope that Cash can be every bit the Aussie Bandy was! Hugs, Amy & Ellen
