Jet has grown into a magnificent dog, he is sweet as honey and he is gorgeous.He always asks about you so we thought we would say hello. Jet takes super long walks along the waterfront in Manhattan and everyone stops to admire him. I haven't neutered him just yet because he is so extraordinary.

It is with great sadness that we have to tell you of the passing of our beloved Jack. On Tuesday he had surgery for Laryngeal paralysis that we thought would buy him some more time. Unfortunately there were complication with his esophagus. Peter took him home yesterday after getting fluids and they spent time together.

. Pete lay on the floor next to him and in the middle of the night Pete moved to the couch. This morning we found him under the dining room table (his favorite spot) so we know he died peacefully and at home.We cannot even begin to tell you what a precious, precious gift he was from you to us; his beauty outside could not even compare to the sweetest temperament matched only by a fierce protectiveness and loyalty. It is a blessing that we still have Sinjin, who at almost fifteen survived a scary seizure a few months ago to bounce back.

We have attached a few pictures of our boys to show you what a great great thing you have done and how you have changed our lives immeasurably. Thornapple Mercury Irish Lass RN, CLR-1, CLH-1, CLS-1, CL-F, CLR, FD, FDX, FDCH, FDCH-S,FDCH-G, CGC, Top Flight (U-Fli) (2 legs NF/2 legs SSA/2 legs SG) "Annie" 2) Waverunners Flyball and USDAA Agility Annie and Michele spent the weekend at the Waverunners Flyball tournament. Annie did wonderful and her team won and ran faster than a lot of the division one teams! Annie finished her Flyball Dog Championship Gold (FDCH-G) this weekend and her team overall was 1st Place. Last weekend in agility at USDAA Annie got her first leg in Gamblers and Standard Championship and placed second in Gamblers and fourth in Standard because she got hung in the chute.

I hope you are doing well! I can't believe how quickly this summer flew by and how much Finn has grown up...don't get me wrong, he is still very much a puppy! He passed his puppy class with flying colors. We finally got him microchipped and neutered and he recovered well from surgery. We are still having some issues with him herding the cats (and chewing on them a bit) and being a bit mouthy in general, but other than that he is doing just perfectly. I rollerblade him 1-2 times a day and we play frisbee and catch in the back yard.

He LOVES meeting other people and other dogs and you would think it was the end of the world when he sometimes doesn't get to meet them. He loves playing with Jeff's parents' dog Laney (golden retriever) and you would think he was going to explode with excitement when we pull in their drive. We're starting to seriously consider another Aussie. We're loving the personality of the breed. We're starting to seriously consider another Aussie. We're loving the personality of the breed.

We're loving the personality of the breed and we think Finn would love having another dog to rough house with (since the cats really can't!). I was also starting to think about this winter and wondering how to keep Finn excerised since I won't be able to rollerblade...I was thinking about possibly getting into skijoring with him. We'll see! I'll probably call the kennel club to see if they know of anyone in the area who could help get me into that. Well, I think that's all for now! Just wanted to give you a quick update. Jasper and Finn are doing perfectly! No problems whatsoever! Finn is so happy to have a playmate. We tried a quick walk today and they did alright together. Jasper likes walking shoulder to shoulder with Finn. He did fine in his crate for the hour and a half that I was gone later this afternoon. He's such a good boy!Congrats on your new boy Jasper, Danielle!

I hope things are going well with you and your family and all the Thornapple Aussies. Chance and I are doing great!!!He's about 8 1/2 months old now, 45 lbs. and still growing.

It's amazing, just seems like yesterday he was a little guy bouncing all around the house and now he's a "bigger" little guy still bouncing all around the house...it just takes fewer bounces to get from point A to point B.

His training is going well. He passed his AKC Star Puppy test, completed Beginners Obdience and is now attending Novice Obdience classes. He's hoping to test for his CGC soon along with getting his feet wet in Agility.Chances favorite things to do are playing chase with the hose, splashing around in his kiddie pool, hanging out at Camp Bow Wow for the day.

When Chance isn't busy working on his sit stays, down stays, and stand stays he likes to learn new tricks. Peekaboo, Bang, Roll Over, Figure Eights, and jumping through his hullahope to name a few. Most importantly, he loves to have FUN, FUN, and more FUN!!!
