GOOD NEWS from Japan! Yoshi (Yoshihiro Yamaji - Wild Levin Aussies) tells us that Ruby is in a family way! She is expecting 2 puppies in August. We are thrilled as Ruby is 8 years old and arrived late in her heat cycle. Good Luck Yoshi! We can't wait to hear the news in August! |

Well, we've had Jasmine for a week now and we aren't planning on sending her back yet... Ha, Actually we are all in love with her and can't thank you enough!! She is so sweet and very smart! She is settled into her routine here and already understands a handful of commands. The way she jumps and flips around, I'm pretty sure she's telling me that she'd love to be an agility dog when she gets bigger. My goodness, she's a little fireball! Her favorite game is stalking through the flower garden like it's a jungle, rolling around and snapping at all the flower heads. She has killed many a flower, but we don't mind because they grow back. The picture here is of her preparing to jump at that tall yellow flower. After I took it, she succeeded, and that poor flower is no more. |

She also has a little pool that she loves to splash around in and dive after her tennis ball (that at this point barely fits in her mouth), and when we walk her through the woods she stays right on our heels the whole time. She definitely knows we are her family now. She even went and cheered on Sam at his baseball game this week, until she fell sound asleep on my lap- baseball can be a little slow sometimes. Everyone who sees her thinks she's the most beautiful puppy they've ever seen. Tell all her friends that she says hi and misses playing with them. She tries to play with our cats, but they are a little less than enthused. Again, thank you so much, we love Jasmine and will keep you posted on her progress. -Emily

Miss Gi Gi .... lucky to be alive! Gi Gi was seized along with about a dozen other Aussies including her kennel mate Thornapple Mocha Chocolate "Mocha" in a seizure by Kalamazoo Michigan Animal Control. Gi Gi, Mocha and others were found in crates filled with feces and urine ... no food or water ... very very thin .... along with dead dogs in crates. It was horrifying and shocking .... Thank God Chris Reedy notified us and Thank God Tina Reed of Kalamazoo went immediately to Animal Control to claim our girls. Thank you TINA!!!! |
