We arrived home with a new Thornapple family member ... a bunny named Brandy!
Shayna & Megan rescued Brandy after she was tossed into the grass by 2 adult men
 from the National's host hotel. Candy tells us she is a Florida White. Brandy is a sweet
baby bunny who we love very much! Lots more photos of Miss Brandy coming! :))

Sue reports --- Wow, what a great weekend in Winchester...well, sort of great anyway!

Saturday morning, Thornapple Hey There Delilah "Delilah" got her first qualifying score of 188 out of 200 in obedience.
Taylor took High Scoring Junior Handler! Their judge was Ms. Connie Jankowski.

Saturday Morning Junior Class: Taylor placed 2nd in junior's, and got Reserve Junior Handler with Judge Melinda Gann.

Saturday Afternoon Junior Class: Taylor placed 2nd and got Reserve Junior Handler with Judge Janet White.

May 9 - GOOD NEWS from Rianne in the Netherlands!
I wanted to let you al know that I'm AGAIN very proud of my little girl....
She won again her class, with an Excellent out of 4 and became her second
point towards her Dutch Youth Championship, one to go Janay....!!!
The Judge was Mr. Wauben from the Netherlands and was again very interested
in her, he also made her best of breed puppy in November.
Janay will be one year old on Wednesday, so then we have a little party LOL.
I didn't know but today was also an outdoor show, but she has done it
better, and she is learning showing on grass is also possible...

Congrats to all winners around the world!!! Now we have to brag. Major (First Class) were at a
championship show today and won the group!!!!!!!Today it was a show with 3.500 dogs.
We didn't show anyone because Angelica had a dance show today so we were there instead.
But the lady who has Major showed him. And he won BOB, BIG and BIS-5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is our 6:th
Thornapple group winner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :))))))))))))))))

May 14 - Birthday girls in Nova Scotia!
I can't believe that our beautiful red girlie is a year old already!!! Thank you so much Ellen and Amy for allowing Mylie
to come to Canada with us, we love her so much! Collin and I have been working very hard with our girls to get ready for
our show this weekend. We had a show last weekend and Mylie was reserve winners female for 3 out of the 4 shows and the
weekend before that she was best puppy in breed in 1 of the 2 shows...she had to share with Alice too:)
I have been trying to keep up with all of the good news, it has been a really good week for the Thornapples!

Just thought that I would share our news from Canada. Alice and Mylie had a show this weekend.
This was Mylie's first show in the 12 - 18 month class, she won her class and then went on to take
reserve winners bitch on Saturday. On Sunday, Little Miss Alice (BleuRoyal Thunder of Victory--
 Thornapple Code Red x Thornapple Peachy Keen) won winners bitch from the junior puppy class
for her first CKC point. Angela

May 18 - NEWS from Ale in South America -- Chile!!!!
I just would like to share our show results of this weekend :) We are very happy because every month we are
having more and more new dogs at the Australian Shepherd Breed competitions, right now is the second biggest
breed competition in the herding group (after the German Shepherds).... :) We had a great show this weekend and
lots of other aussies around......BUT.....KCC Ch. Thornapple Free Throw "Blas" took BEST OF BREED EASY!!!!!!!!!!!
(The judge was from Brasil and he felt IN LOOOOVE of Blas), he took Herding Group 3 too, Thornapple Peachy Keen
"GiGi" won Best Opposite Sex for her first CAC (Certificate for Champion). Youth KCC Ch. Thornapple Uncle Sam Wants
You "Patriot" took BOB & Reserve Herding Group (Youth Class). Mmmmmm...ohh yes! And our BLEUROYAL UNANIMOUS
DECISION "Kodiak" (GiGi x LaDew) took BOB & Herding Group 1 (Puppy Class)............. :) This was GiGi´s first show
and she did a great job for Gaspar! She was very happy flirting with all the doggies :) Hugs Ale HUGE WEEKEND ALE!

and on Sunday BEST OF HERDING GROUP 1 under the judge FRANK PEDDIE (CAN)

Also we had a great time with Eszter Rozsos (Thornapple Family) the owner of Latte, she is super cool!!!!!

When I remember now, a year ago I did not know you actually, I was doing research on the Internet of the
Top Quality Australian Shepherd Breeders in the World from whom I will get my first Aussie girl. I was from
other part of the World and everybody was actually telling me there is no chance to get a good bitch from the
breeder without having any strong references or previous success in the breed. It was my first Aussie, it was
my first contact, it was my first show dog...and there is a bitch with 15 months, winning and she does have a
strong genotype with the phenotype that you can see on photos!!!!!
