Super news from “Camp Thornapple” in Denmark!!!
Jada - Thornapple What The Doc Ordered
- took BOB today at the big internationals dog show here in Denmark!
Summer took BOB and BIS puppy over many puppies and she is only 6 ˝ month old!!!
(the 6-9 puppy class) Wow!!!! I was so proud of her!!! She showed like
Diablo…!!!!
Mirage -
Thornapple Ante Up
- did so well at the show…. She become 3’th best bitch in open class and looks
so pretty!
Cuba -
Thornapple Cuba Blue
- was with Naja in Norway and she showed him to BOB and BIG 4!!! So now he
is champion in Norway too!!!

Thornapple Cool Water "Jack Dawson"
It is with great sadness that we have to tell you of the passing of our beloved
Jack. On Tuesday he had surgery for Laryngeal paralysis
that we thought would buy him some more time. Unfortunately there were
complication with his esophagus. Peter took him home
yesterday after getting fluids and they spent time together. Pete lay on
the floor next to him and in the middle of the night Pete moved
to the couch. This morning we found him under the dining room table (his
favorite spot) so we know he died peacefully and at home.
We cannot even begin to tell you what a precious, precious gift he was from you
to us; his beauty outside could not even compare to the
sweetest temperament matched only by a fierce protectiveness and loyalty. It is
a blessing that we still have Sinjin, who at almost
fifteen survived a scary seizure a few months ago to bounce back.
We have attached a few pictures of our boys to show you what a great great thing
you have done and how you have changed our lives
immeasurably. So here's to Thornapple's Cool Water "Jack Dawson" Like his
namesake: We'll never let go.

She has been bringing home the points over the last few weeks!

owner-handler, Todd Dirksen.
On Saturday under Judge Charles E. Trotter Roxy picked up WB/BOW/BOS for her
first AKC point. On Sunday
she followed up with another point taking WB/BOS under Judge Robert J.
Shreve.

Mylie takes the family tractor for a spin around the farm in Nova Scotia!
Hope that you had lots of
fun at the tractor show! The pictures are great!!! My father would love
to go to something like that! Our family vacations always included a trip to a
tractor dealership!!!!
Collin and I were at my parents' farm again today and I took some more pictures
of Mylie. She is so photogenic!!
Collin and Mylie are off to Saint John, New Brunswick tomorrow afternoon to try
for that last point this weekend!
There is some pretty tough competition but hopefully they will win! Collin has
strict orders to call me the second
he is out of the ring to let me know how they are doing!! It is going to be so
hard not being there to watch!
Our next show is in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia at the end of the month so if Mylie
doesn't get that last point this
weekend I am sure that she will have it before the end of the month! Take care,
