Scotia!
Hope that you had fun at
your show!! We had a good weekend in PEI. We attended the Top Atlantic Puppy
Awards Saturday night.
This show was by invitation only to all of the puppy group winners in the 4
Atlantic provinces. Little Miss Mylie pulled off a 4th place
in the herding group for the awards!!!!! This was judged by a panel of
judges...Collin was talking to one of the judges the next day and
she said that if it would have been up to just her that Mylie would have placed
much higher but we were happy with a 4th!! This was our
last show of the season but I would have to say that Mylie had a good year!!!!
Two championship titles, a BPIG win, 4 group placings
in the regular CKC shows and now this...I also just got her champion certificate
from the CKC in the mail today:) plus her CGN certificate!!!
Mylie is a very special girl and we love her lots!!!

Just wanted to tell you
another amazing story about our amazing angel. Lincoln got tubes in his ears 3
weeks ago after 6 ear infections.
(many of them Chevy
diagnosed) Four days after
getting the tubes, Chevy was hovering over Lincoln again. I thought that maybe
he
sensed the tubes or something. He kept licking Lincoln on the right side of his
head...and he was making sure we noticed him. Within a
couple of days, Lincoln's ear started draining and the doctor said it was an ear
infection and to start putting antibiotic drops in his ears.
I thought, "Wow...Chevy did it again!"But, it didn't end there. Chevy kept
pretty close to Lincoln. Lincoln ended up getting a pretty sick.
His fever got up to 104, and he wouldn't eat or drink. After doing many tests
over several days, the doctor took a sample from in
Lincoln's ear. They grew the sample over the weekend and called me back in the
office last Monday. Lincoln had a staff infection in his
right ear. The doctor admitted him to the hospital. They pumped the little guy
full of fluids and antibiotics. He is doing much better now.
Chevy truly amazes me. He has a special bond with Lincoln...and Lincoln loves to
love on Chevy!
Ellen, are you sure you saw Chevy being born? I'm not sure he came from Bianca
