DOG SHOW NEWS FROM SWEDEN!
This weekend Miranda and I
went to her first official show. She has just become 9 months old and is allowed
to enter !!
She did really good and I'm so proud. She almost beat all the girls, only a
champion bitch beat her!!! She became
second best bitch with CC !!!! Boom became BOB and then he ended up as BIG
3 !!! Hug Marie and Miranda

New photos of Ice at 19 months! Ice and Eileen have a busy 2009 show and trial
season coming up. They have their first ASCA agility
trial at the beginning of April. In addition to agility, Ice and Eileen are
continuing their obedience/rally and conformation in all venues.

Here are a couple of photos of little June. As you can see, she is not being
spoiled at all.
It was so nice to see you yesterday and to meet the crew. Everyone was so nice
and welcoming.
We loved to meet more of the Thornapple dogs, too. Jonathan would love to learn
how you take
the wonderful photos. He would like to find out how Maria makes them stand so
nicely.
June had a really good trip home. She was relaxed and napped on the middle seat.
We all took
turns sitting next to her. We made a stop along the way to purchase a girly
collar, pink toy and
a pink bowl, of course. June was the star of our trip to the pet store. One of
the clerks immediately
lift June out of Jonathan’s arms exclaiming, “What a beautiful red Aussie”.
People even got out
of line to meet June. As we were leaving the store a group of people were
entering. We had to go
back inside because one of the men wanted to take a photo of June. This also
allowed his companion,
a physically challenged blind woman to pet and snuggle June. The puppy handled
everything with the
utmost grace, enjoying every minute of the attention.
Meeting our other dogs went very well. June immediately flipped over and all was
well. Cash simply
loves her. He is very protective and almost seems to guard her. I expect them to
become fast friends.
We were amazed last evening when we took her out to go potty. She saw Cash climb
up the deck stairs
and she immediately tried to copy. She had to stop a couple of times along the
way but is a real go-getter.
I feel she will be very Velcro, like Cash. She follows me everywhere. She slept
pretty well overnight, though
she did howl when we put her in the crate. Ok, we are spoiling her already! She
is certainly a Thornapple.

Ch Thornapple King Of Stars "Sirus"
NEWS FROM SPAIN!
We've been all this time without a Sirus at exhibitions, because I've been sick
with a back problem, and I could not move.
I'm better now and last night February 22 I went to the International Exhibition
of Valladolid where Sirus came into to get
the best of breed. Congratulations! We believe he has matured and is very
beautiful, so charming ......... enjoying a lot with.

Thornapple Last Dance "Janay"
NEWS from the Netherlands!
This weekend we had 2 days of show.
On Saturday a FCI show, here in the Netherlands...and she was in youth class.
The Judge gave her a very good Write up and she ended on the 4th place with an
Excellent out of 6. She has done great and I was proud of my little girl.
On Sunday Janay had her first ASCA show in Germany, I met for the first time
Thornapple Thunder Jam and he is a very nice guy....so sweet and happy, he liked
to play with Janay. There were277 Aussies entered.
Janay was in 9-12 months class and there were 12 bitches entered. It was a big
competition,
there were some very nice youngsters. I didn't expect it, but Janay ended up at
the 2nd Place.
So we had a very nice show weekend. At the end of march were going to the big
show in Luxembourg....Rianne

we were Saturday in LEIDEN the judge was MEVR TEN CATE and he was BOB CACIB and
in the main ring 7e place.
He is now DUTCH CHAMPION in points but official we have to wait till he is 27
month's and he have to win one time a RES.point
