Thornapple Intuition "Mylie"
June 6th --- NEWS from Nova Scotia!
Just thought that I would share our news from the weekend. We had a show yesterday in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia
and Mylie took Reserve Winners Bitch and today little Miss Alice took Reserve Winners Bitch. This show was held by
the local kennel club that Collin and I belong to and each year we have a competition for members only for the best
 conformation dog...this year Collin and Mylie won!! Collin and Mylie will now have their names engraved on a huge
trophy as the winners for 2009. The judge absolutely loved Mylie, she even found us later to talk to us about Mylie
and had lots of great things to say about her. Mylie definitely gets lots and lots of attention at the shows and she
loves it!! No one goes away without a Mylie kiss!! Angela  SUPER CONGRATS Angela & Colin!
Please give Miss Mylie a big hug from her Tapple family!

 

 

Dog Show NEWS from Japan!
I took TRUE to a show with me on Sunday. She won Best of Breed but was not able to enter a group.
However, she enjoyed a show with her handler very much. She likes a show very much.
Concentration is splendid. It is the character that is liked because I take her very bright.

Ch Thornapple Iced Latte "Latte"
GOOD NEWS from Hungary!
We have been to a few shows with Latte, she finished her Croatian champion and on that day she became Best Of Breed.
Latte is now a champion in 5 countries and multi champion. I am very proud of her. I would also want to do the international
 champion with her. This year we are going to a Aussie special championship to Italy where Mrs. Terri Morgan will be judging.

Janay passes the mental test in the Netherlands!
We are back from the young dog day, and Janay is ok LOL. She passed the little mental test and she was exactly doing what I have expected.
We needed to use a flexi lead, but she doesn't know such line and she thought YESSSS PLAYTIME and started running over the grass.
With the first test, she was jumping to the women who gave me a hand, and then she was chewing on the orange pawn with # 1 on it LOL,
yes thats Janay LOL....no problem. Then we walked to # 2. There was a strange noise coming but she was already jumping and running
 in front of me. She was a little bit shocked of it, but within one second she was walking to the gear were the noise was coming from, to
look what it was. All this time you may not talk to your dog. Then we walked to # 3, again jumpy running. There was a white shirt pulled on high,
then she was really shocked and ran away, but with the long line she was stuck. I needed to lose it and then she came looking with me to the skirt.
 The last thing was, playing with me, with a toy, and she was as normally jumpy and happy. She passed it and the people were laughing about her.
They said she is so active and enthusiastic. They said she is one of the Aussies with kangaroo in her lines LOL! They said she is a dog who will do
something first then think about it. They liked her. This is how she really is but you know that! LOL! She was with you for her first 5 months. The
judgment of how she looks is also ok but that could not be wrong with such a young DJCH! We have a show on Friday. I will take photos of Alex,
Paisley and Janay together at the show. TJ will also be at the show. CONGRATULATIONS on passing the mental test Rianne & Janay!

I have a 2 yr old bitch from Thornapple Gitchi Gitchi Ya Ya and Bayshore’s National Enquirer purchased from the Karen & Michael Wilson/Jackson breeders.
I took her to a herding trainer in Berryville, Virginia today and my dog (Becca) was totally at home. The trainer said she is a “natural” for herding.
Thought I’d share a pic of her. Tom Ferrell  Brandywine, Md.
 She is not only a natural, she is darling as well! Happy Herding Tom!
