MID MAY 2008

Happy Mother's Day!

Amy sends us a cute story about a dog & his bone!
Before our walk this evening - Shamba very creatively stole Pucker's chew bone from her crate.
He was very proud of his find and was determined - no one will take it away from him. He devised a
clever little plan and in the end, you see it worked!  No-one, not even Shamba could find his treasure!

Shamba has Pucker's yummy rawhide bone tucked safely between his front feet!

Mom says we are taking a hike to the swamp!  Dilemma!  Where do I hide my stolen rawhide to keep it safe while I hike with Mom?

I have an idea!  They will never find it down here!  I did it!  I buried it deep in the muck!  I'm pretty darn smart!

Okay, Shamba .... give it up!  Pucker is NOT happy about the missing rawhide!  Drew has NO clue where it is!

DRAT! Despite an intensive search ... I cannot locate my stolen rawhide bone!

Meanwhile, Grandpa Jim & Shayna take a mud free cruise & enjoy a beautiful Michigan May day on the ATV!

New photo of Ice, practicing his down stay. Eileen and Ice are working on their performance titles as well!

Vito received CAC, and CACIB titles from a judge, who is sooo strict, I was a bit afraid of him:-),
On the second day, Vito were the ResCAC and the Res CACIB. On Monday Vito passed the herding trial exam:-)))

ADDIE'S BLOG --- FIRST WEEKEND WITH THE INCHES! ***
Dear Granny T, Happy Mother's day to you and my mom Cordelia.
What a busy weekend I had.  On Friday I went to Mitchell's Bay Ontario to the Inch's Fishshack and met all of my nice Canadian neighbours.
I like riding in the car now.  I met all of the dogs in the immediate neghourhood (Canadian SP).  They were nice , but some of them did not
understand that I am still a puppy.  Michael helped me with that.  He is quite the worry wart.  I like the Fishshack.  There are rabbits
and birds and fish jumping in the water.  It is cool, even though I don't know how I am going to utilize it yet.  They put a leash thing on me
and I walked them and I did not really care too much.  Big deal.  On the way back the American Custom officer had allot of questions to ask about
me. They didn't seem too smart.  I told them my name was Thornapple's Bombs Bursting in Air and dogs my age don't get rabies shots yet.
They did not get it.  It is hard to get good help now days.  The Canadian Customs people were not a problem on the way over.  U.S. guys get
a clue.
Today we had all of the Mother's over at my house.  Michael's brother Doug brought his dog master over to visit me. Annie is a 13 week
old yellow Lab. She is very nice and pretty
smart for a Lab.  We hit it off very well.  We played all day.  It was raining but we did not care.
We wanted to be as muddy as possible when it was time for them to eat. I showed Annie some of my Aussie tricks.  Doug will see next week.
She was in the back of the truck on the way over and was sitting in the front seat on the way home.  What an upgrade.
Ellen, what should I do
to help the Inches to get the name thing together?  I have accepted the name Addie.  I really kind of like it.  I actually come to it when I am
called. I am pretty proud of it.  Diann is the worst.  She calls me Sassy, Saddie, Assie and Addie.  She gets confused. I think that something is up.
That Michael was out with orange flags and was marking the lines I love to romp over into the neighbor's yard and the driveway out to the busy street.
He had this thing in his hand that made a noise when he went toward the flags.  He did not talk to me about it yet.  I will listen carefully when he
lets me know what is going on.  I was listening when he was on the phone talking to "the Pros".  He said something about noise only for awhile.  Hmmmm?
I hope all of my brother and sisters are doing well.  Tell them I said Hi. Love, TBBIA......Addie

MAY 13TH ****** NO BLOG from Miss Addie!  Mike Inch explains why::::::::

Addie partially ate the keyboard wire  Trouble typing  Pitures ne t weekend  Really  no periods or so e letters   Not kidding  Need new keyboard

We hope Miss Addie has a new keyboard soon, Mike!  We LOVE her updates!!!
