& Anna-Lena Munkvall who visited all the way
from Sweden!
Anna-Lena & Marie spent many hours shopping, grooming dogs, helping pose
puppies for photos & walking the farm
enjoying our fall colors & playing with Marie's new puppy Thornapple Whiskey
Lullaby --- Miss Miranda! We will take good
good care of Miranda for Marie. She will join Marie in Sweden when she meets the
requirements to travel to Sweden!

A Janay update from Rianne van
Tiggelen in the Netherlands!
So it is day 5 here
for Janay .... This morning we were in the garden to rake the autumn leaves.
Janay had lots of fun helping me by jumping in the nicely raked leaves! She
loves playing with the other dogs.
As you can see from the photos, she is tired & sleeps with my daughter Pyam!

Just a short report from
Nessie! (CH Thornapple Aftershock & Thornapple Mandarin Passion) in
Sweden!
She is now 2 years old, adorable, funny, creative & loves to cooperate!
And she is so cool & relaxed! Have
a look at the picture where she is sleeping in a chair. We compete in tracking
wild wounded/bleeding animals,
and she is doing very well. She just passed the beginners class with two first
prices & one second, out of 20
dogs at each competition. She loves doing tricks as well. A very popular one
this summer was rolling into a towel
And whatever we are doing, she tries to help. Not much help as a matter of
fact, but she is serious & proud, so
we let her do it. For example watering plants (carrying the bucket) mending
things (picking up tools you need) &
assisting in the kitchen (opening & closing drawers & cupboards & picking up
everything you drop). The vacuum
cleaner is very popular & she wouldn't dream of letting someone handle it
without her. Digging is a favorite,
where she is quite useful. She only digs when she is asked to & only where you
point. And of course she stops
