That was really good because it has been raining all day!!!  It's just 48 degrees
(farenheit) warm (or should I say cold???) at the showground.  We are VERY
pleased with that!  Hugs Anna-Lena  WAY TO GO BOOM!!!

Slash again best Junior in breed and got new title JUNIOR BALTIC WINNER 2008
and become Junior Champion of Lithuania!!! with wonderful way!! Sheina got CACIB :)))

August 3rd -- We enjoyed a wonderful dog show weekend with Thornapple family! Our house
guests included Jenny Poe & her son Jonathon Greene, Candy & Erica Prince, Debbie & Maria Neff,
Susan & Taylor Grisman, Shayna Garrison, Stephanie Hentschel & Erica Escalada from West Palm Beach
who has been hanging out with us since school ended in June! Home cooked meals which included fresh
veggies & sweet corn from the Farmer's Market made every meal DELISH! Afternoons found us playing
with puppies and evenings were filled with dog show practice! 10 pm found most everyone in bed ---
5am rise and shine for an early show time!  Thank you Debbie, Candy, Erika & Susan for cooking up
a storm the past 5 days!  All we can say is YUM! Susan & Jenny ... Evan says THANK YOU & I LOVE YOU
for taking me outside to play! Mother T says THANK YOU Jenny for pulling weeds in the flower beds!

Hoping for a CUTE kid & puppies back cover for the next issue of the USASA Journal,
Saturday evening found us doing a photo shoot with famous Thornapple model Evan Brandenburg!
150 photos later, we found ourselves with a temperamental star and no photo for the back cover.
We called it a day as the sun set in the west with no ad for Kathy Glaes, our Journal editor!
Thank you to Evan's personal aides Shayna, Stephanie and Mommy for assisting our star in this
fruitless endeavor! (Our star tells us he wants shorter working hours and more money!)

Shirley traveled with Keeshond friends from the Marshall Dog Shows  to meet the puppies.
    

  
Mylie cools off in her pretty new purple kiddie pool in NOVA SCOTIA!!! 
Well, Mylie has been here a week now, hard to believe!  She has won over a lot of people and has made some new
doggie friends as well. Everyone falls in love with her as soon as they meet her and she has lots of kisses to go around! 
 Mylie absolutely loves her pool and cannot walk past it without jumping in to get her paws wet. She still enjoys splashing
in her water bowl though, we keep a mop close by!  Today I took her to a nearby lake and she went right into the water.
  I threw sticks in the water for her and she would go and get them and bring them back to me to throw again.  I think
that she would have done that all afternoon!  I think that she will be swimming in no time at all. About a month ago we
got 2 sheep, Maisey and Mittens. Mylie has touched noses with them while in my arms but she isn't so sure about them yet. 
 She also met one of the horses that is in the barn right now, they touched noses as well but that was enough for Mylie. 
I am sure that when she gets older she will like having the other animals around but for now she enjoys them from a distance!

AM NZ CH Thornapple Hot Temptation "Zippo"
Thought you might like a picture of Zippo.  He won another Group 1 this weekend and went on to OPEN in Show
as well!  He is leading the breed at the moment but it is still a long time till the end of the year.  I will be sending
you some more photos of Denver (Zippo's son) who we took with us this past weekend.  He won the other two
Best Of Breeds as well.  Coralee is really thrilled with him too.  The last photo is of Zippo, his son Denver & his
daughter Patsy.  It is a nice group photo.  Here's hoping this finds you well and recovered from your weekend

A Skylar report from Wisconsin!
Skylar is doing really well. We had the baptism of our grandson so we 
had to take her with. We stayed at our daughter's home ... she had a 
big time with the other dogs and grandchild. So far she is working 
out well ... very busy puppy. My daughter who has horses and is the 
lawyer fell in love with her ... she wanted to take her with her. 
Both daughters choice of breed is the Aussie ... maybe because of 
growing up with them and seeing them at the Morgan Horse Shows.
I am so proud of this little dog ... I think she is beautiful and I 
love her already. I think she will work out fine.
