Miss Addie updates us on her holiday weekend!

Hi Granny T, Happy Memorial Day!  Remember me?  Thornapple's Bombs Bursting in Air!

It has been another week with the Inches and another weekend in Canada.  This is turning into a long trip at the Inch's "Fishshack".
They keep telling people they are on vacation.  This vacation stuff is allot of work for me.  I have to wake them up every morning
at 6:30 AM by squeaking my green sleeping buddy dog until one of them gets up and feeds me.  I am so glad that Diann has kept me
in the soft crate in their bedroom at night.  I feel so close to them.  My squeals wake them as I dream about my farm days at Thornapple.
I am walking nicely on leash for a puppy (I am told). We walked down to the boat they call Inch X Inch III and I tried it on for size.
I am not impressed by boats at this time.  They are rather confining and when you jump off of the side you crash into this cold wet
stuff they call Lake St. Clair.  Michael scooped me out right away. Diann still had the leash on me so my head and hairdo
did not even get wet.  I did not like it much and probably won't try jumping off again.
I have to go now.  They just finished putting new mulch in the flower beds and I have to go tear it up and eat it . Love Addie.

Just thought I would let you know that "Bear" Northbay's What Would U Do For Me owned by Kelli DeSoto of Washington State,
sired by LaDew finished his ASCA title last weekend on Saturday and then Sunday picked up his second major, only leaving him 4 singles
to finish. Well I am excited to say that I just received an email from Kelli that yesterday he received his 3rd AKC major to finish his AKC title.
Megan Hof has been handling him for his owner and has garnered 10pts AKC in less than a month as well as one ASCA major.
I am so proud of both Kelli and Bear and thought you'd love to know the success of one of LaDew - CH THORNAPPLE CODE RED - babies.
Thank you so much again for allowing me to breed Hailee to LaDew. I will send photos as soon as Kelli sends them on to me.

Jackson (Thornapple Mercury Hotshot) is on a roll with another winning weekend from the 9-12 month class.
Jackson was handled by Alyssa Janisak (Valor Australian Shepherds) while Todd and Brandy were home
watching their son Nate graduate from High School!  (Jackson is an Iowa dog!)
Saturday, May 24, 2008 - Winners Dog under Judge Professor Douglas C. Taylor
Key City Kennel Club, Inc. St. Peter, MN
WAY TO GO, JACKSON!
In reply to our inquiry as to Brandy & Todd's safety after tornadoes ripped through Iowa & Minnesota
on Sunday, May 25, killing 8 people, Brandy tells us:
We're okay.  We were driving to Minnesota to pick Jackson up yesterday when all of this was happening.
As soon as the graduation ceremony was over the wind picked up and it started raining like crazy but it came and went quickly.
We had sunshine all the way up I-35 but we could see the storm off to the East.  Listened to the news on the radio while we drove
and they spotted a tornado on the ground less than 10 miles from our house!   Todd's step-grandmother lives in Parkersburg where
all the damage is but no word from his dad and step-mom on that yet.  I lost my cell phone over the weekend so can't make any
long distance calls until Todd gets home from doing chores. I hate tornado season.
