 FIRST SNOW ON THE GROUND IN MICHIGAN --- NOVEMBER 10TH 2008!!!!!



BISS CKC/AKC CH Pintado's Mr. Right "Bob"
As Virginia tells us-Bob was the most handsome son of our foundation dog, CH Propwash Hey Jude.
With great sadness today we had to let Bob go.  Bob was diagnosed with a large tumor just before New Year's,
the vet was not sure he would make it past New Year's weekend, but he did.    He has spent the past 10 months
getting more spoiled than ever, never missing a meal or a cookie, and just being kept as comfortable as he
possibly could.  The events of the past few weeks, as well as the progression of his disease had taken a toll on
him, making life too uncomfortable to allow him to bear it longer. Bob was the only male from my first litter
of Aussies, he  was my first homebred CKC Ch, as well as my first AKC Ch (entirely from the bred by class), he
 was my first BISS winner, and the first Canadian Bred Aussie to win a CKC Specialty show.  He loved to show,
thought that everyone was clapping for him, did not matter what ring they were actually at...  Years ago when
I took him to a herding clinic, he would work the sheep, then look at the other participants, trot past them just
to hear their applause and laughs, then go back to the sheep.  Bob always loved to make everyone laugh, was
in the middle of every joke.  Bob's greatest joy arrived 6 years ago.   From the first time my nephew came to visit,
Bob decided that he would be Brandon's best friend.  When Brandon was just a baby, Bob would sit close to him,
although not sure what that small creature was, Bob was sure that he loved that baby.  Brandon would grab Bob's
ears and poke him in the eye, Bob would just grin.  When Brandon came to visit, Bob would follow him everywhere,
I am sure it was not just for the trail of food that a toddler leaves behind either...  By the time Brandon was 3 he
 would call Bob his best friend...  I think that becoming Brandon's best friend was Bob's greatest achievement!
So farewell my "Buddy Bear", I miss you!

CH THORNAPPLE AFTERSHOCK *** Nordic Winner 2008!
Bitta reports in!!!! Good NEWS --- Diablo - CH Thornapple Aftershock got a new title this weekend!  NORDIC WINNER 2008!!!!
Diablo, Cuba, Jada & Sycamore were entered at the big show.  Diablo was BEST OF BREED and BEST IN GROUP 3!
Cuba - CH Thornapple Cuba Blue  was the 3rd Best Champion Dog * Jada - CH Thornapple What The Doc Ordered 
was Best Champion Bitch and Reserve Cacib * Sycamore - Thornapple Queen Of Diamonds was 2nd Best Bitch in Open
Class. Damon - CH Thornapple Oh Brother won the Open Class and got his important CC so he is now Danish and Nordic Champion!!!!  Not many
Aussies have that title.  CONGRATULATIONS to EASY KENNEL! :) ALL of the Thornapples did very good at this show!

Buddy (left) earned enough points last weekend to achieve his Flyball Dog Champion gold award.
  Stormy (right) is in training and last practice she completed two full runs!! She is really fast!
