After graduation, Sheryl will spend the month of January with us!

Angelica was chosen to
be "Lucia" in school. It's something that we celebrate here in Sweden
every 13:th of December. It's the "Queen Of \Lights." We were so proud of
her! If you go in to
www.google.com (or yahoo) and search
for photos of Lucia you will see how we do. It's one girl
with "lights" in her hair and some girls behind her who have glitters in
their hair. The boys are
Santas or Gingerbread Bisquits or "Star Boys."

I'm not sure if you
remember me, but 11 years ago come Dec. 26 I crashed a family party at Amy's
house and
some time after midnight I left with a beautiful, 10 week old, black tri
female puppy named Tearstopper - Now known
as Cassie. [sire: Windhawk x dam: Skippy] This note is to let you know that
after thousands of miles of RVing, ATVing, Hunting,
Fishing,Hiking,and in general just enjoying life, Cassie is starting to slow
down some but still going strong. I know that we are
both looking forwards to another summer of traveling thru out the western
states together.
We both wish you / your family / and all your dogs a very merry Christmas!

December 6th!
Anna-Lena just
called me and told me to give you all the results from
the big dog show in Sweden (Stockholm) It were Thornapples day today :)
Boom became BOB and is qualified for Crufts :) second best male were Jag
who also became best veteran, third best male Damon, fourth best male
Glidden and fifth best male with CC Major. In the bitch class Enya became
BOS
and Kiara became second best bitch with CC. The Thornapple also had a
breeder
group and this group became best Aussie breeder group..
CONGRATULATIONS to all of you !!!!! I could not be there, my boyfriend
is in Chicago to pick up Miranda and her mother Shirley!!! I am so looking
forward
to meet my little Miranda again :) Marie (Sweden)

Thought you might enjoy this photo of one of Zippo's sons, Cruiser, he
lives in Australia with the Richter family, he is out of coat so not
being shown at the moment, he has Zippo's great nature and is a very
well loved boy, and of course he looks very like Zippo. The Spice/Zippo
litter have now produced 2 Champions and they are only 14 months old,
I am very proud of them. Also 2 of them have had their Hip's and Elbow
graded (we grade after 12 months of age in NZ) and both are graded Excellent
(equivalent OFA grading) on their hips and their Elbows are both 0,0 so
perfect.

New Youth Chilean Champion

#1 Australian Shepherd (Youth Class)
#2 of the Herding Group (Youth Class) Dreamy was not #1 for just 6 points
(she did not participate in the Youth Class since August i think).
She had to enter to the Open Class because at the age of 18 months old all
the dogs have to change from the Youth Class to the Open or Intermediate
Class,
all of them. Poor Dreamy....she was #1 for all the months of the year, until
November (the last dog show of the year) when a Corgi pass her for 6 little
points.
We have 3 New Chilean Champions this year.....Dreamy, Icon -
THORNAPPLE I CALL THE SHOTS - and Blas -
THORNAPPLE FREE THROW.
Hopefully next year we will finish Hummer and Celeste.
And we will have some Youth Champion and maybe some Grand Champions
